... Val Ferret area. This is a real small hamlet with about 5-10 houses, a hotel and a bar/restaurant. Service was good, the shared washrooms were clean and dinner was tasty... Hopefully a better day tomorrow.... Woke up to another beautiful day. Hotel Pavillon had been excellent and a great place to relax for the night. Dinner was a 5 course meal with great wine to celebrate harriet's birthday. ... Genoa is an extremely busy port city and the traffic is murder! 15 Klms west of Genoa we found a 'parking lot campsite' in a coastal village / resort called Arenzano. After a 300 Klm run in the 'truck',.. averaging some 65kmph,.. we were looking forward to 'cocktail hour' to end the day. Arenzano looked like a lovely, typical Italian /Mediterranean resort town in August,.. people everywhere in holiday mode,.. cars parked anywhere and everywhere and busy,..busy,.. ...
