Again no lifts and I had to lug my bags up 2 flights of stairs - these ones were at least wider. Dinner was also organised for tonight - a gastronomic meal. It was amazing. A spiced pastry twist with an appertif drink An amuse bouche - risotto starter ...

... had a set menu - 2 courses tonight. I was adventurous and tried the trio of mushrooms for entree while Peter and Sue had terrine. I was able to identify two of the mushroom stuffings (cheese and rillette) but the third was similar to oysters. - I was guessing it was possible escargot. When the waitress came to clear our plates I asked her - she was slightly hesitant to explain the stuffing but when I looked excited she informed it was escargot. ...
