We had another, unfortunate experience like we had on a previous trip, when we tried to get fuel. Many of the stations now are attached to a supermarket, are available ...

I bought a little card game with French tongue twisters and some postcards.

      I saw a sign for a church down a ... I'm not sure ...

We left at 9.05 and drove the 93 miles through not very nice weather, arriving at 11.40. Luckily we got on to Pitch H02 which is near the toilet block but also the pool and restaurant. As we had stayed on the campsite before, we knew where everything was, which is always nice. We were actually just above where we had met Eileen and Phil from Ireland 3 years previously. This time, ...

... br> We rented two bikes from our hotel and set out on a lovely bike path along the Loire River. How wonderful--to cruise along with forest on one side and river on the other. No helmet, no clipped-in shoes, no padded bike shorts, no gps telling us when to turn. We were on our own, with a little map we'd gotten from the visitor center. But the route was pretty well marked, taking us past small villages and houses beside fields of sunflowers or grapes ...
