It feels like a brand new house, with re-pointed stone walls, new wooden staircase, new kitchen, ultra modern shower, radiators, and every convenience that we could possibly require. After several hotels and B&Bs, however nice, it is great to be back in an apartment, on our ...

Marsolan - Condom (you thought I was joking) 17 km

A travel blog entry by elizabethbarker on Oct 09, 2014

Thankfully madam did provide us with breakfast this morning..the usual bread (fresh) and jam...and big bowls of coffee and hot milk. Off we go again this time to La Romieu 10 kms where we expected to have lunch and then go by taxi to Condom as Condom was to be a further 16 km...whilst walking and looking at the map we decided to disobey the pilgrim signs and follow the road to La Romieu......after many miles up hill and down dale and no sign ...
