    Last Day in Fabriano

    October 8: This was our last day with our Italian host family and we laid didn't leave the house until 10:30am (so yes, a late start!). We met a friend for a caffe' (coffee) for lunch and then walked the town of Fabriano. We were treated to a special behind-the-scenes of a beautiful theater. This was right out of the movie Amadeus. Very limited (but beautiful) plush red velvet seat on the floor however the "cool" factor here ...

    ... is something magical about watching 3 artists paint in an old monastery in Italy while the towns main church bell, hundreds of years old, rings in the distance. After that we went to a small photographic exhibition for a local photography who was unveiling a book of Venice photographs. I can't say I got much out of this since all the speakers were speaking Italian. After that we met back up with Ken and Kristi for a private tour of some of Fabriano's most ...

    ... into Pink Lady!! Here they come Hugh, Dianne, Garry & Kathy...something's not right here ..where's Riley? Oh no did they forget him in the big metal flying machine.     ... line and searched if this was normal for my superior breed..yup..they call us Velcro dogs for our strong attachment issues...they better not start hanging around pig barns! I know they love me now as they took me to the vet, she said some nasty plant had attacked me and infected my ear ..so I had a great check-up, prescription for cream and some vitamins to keep me healthy, wealthy and wise...well 2 out of 3 ain't bad...What amazed me ...
