... with a casino and duty free shops. We got there early so we got a great table on the sundeck and enjoyed leaving the harbour to the sounds of Crowded House!! Very popular here in Italy. The ferry ride was gorgeous and the sunset was stunning as we left Italy. We slept the night and arrived in Croatia as the sun came up in the morning. It was a wonderful ferry ride , very beautiful and as flat as a pond and really warm. Bye for now - Grace

Ferry journey, 10 hours, like being on a cruise ship, minus the bells and ...

... And what a day we had! We had pizza and gelato while watching locals run along the beach in Speedos! If that doesn't say fun, I don't know what does!

We left San Benedetto at three o'clock. Our drive to Ancona was uneventful, and unlike our ferry experiences in Thailand, there was no chaos to fight with when getting on board. In fact, I think we may have been four of the maybe thirty people on board. The ship was empty. Our room was ...

... went down and we were left lying in the shade we made our way up the massive hill to the car to head home to the hotel. The drive back was spectacular, looking back over the cliff-side town of Sirolo and the Adriatic Sea. Unfortunately there was nowhere to stop and take a photo, as they would have been great.

We got back to the hotel about 7pm, far too early to be seen out for dinner by Italian standards so we decided to check out the war memorial at the other ...
