Arrived 7am but didn't go ashore until 11. Berthed right in town so an easy walk to do some shopping. Saturday today so market stalls everywhere and really good shops. Had a good Illy coffee and a walk up the hill for a view. Nice fine weather today about 24 degrees. Had lunch in Marco Polo restaurant. Really very good food. Sailed for Corfu during lunch. At 2030 we are out on the aft deck to see the last of Split and Croatia lights fading into the darkness, flat sea, near full moon - so a fitting end to a very good last 2 weeks. One glass of Plavac wine and a short recce to the olive oil shop onboard!! - and early bed

... realised it Was worth it! The 2nd floor rooms opened up onto a huge communal balcony with the most spectacular view. On one side, a mountain and the rest was a view of trees and the ocean as far as the eye could see. It was beautiful, magical.
