Beautiful Umbrian morning ... Sky ... Sun ... Birds ... blah blah blah ... And a decision that we should have a short travel day and set forth to visit the famous town of Assisi, and see what changes 30 years and an earthquake have wrought on it. ... and pork. For the third I had sausage, pork, and salad. For dessert I had a kind of pie and a cookie that wasn't really a cookie; it was called a biscuit and it was basically a loaf of bread with chocolate chips and nuts in it and it was hard like croutons.
