It was great to have a nice and relaxing day close to the gite without having to drive too far.
This trip has certainly shown us the benefit of basing ourselves in one location for an extended period rather than being on the go, moving from town to town each day and we know that any trips we do in the future will be spent in only one or two locations and using those places as a base to explore the area.
