... we were ready to catch the bus to return to St Malo. So much quick reading to do to fill the gaps. We had earlier been conned into buying tickets for a series of 4 museums in the town; not good value as all info was in French whereas the info office was multilingual and free.
Anyway, back to St Malo where our most important decision will be what is for dinner, crepes or crepes. THE. big culinary delight here, crepes and gallettes, crepes being sweet and ...

We didn't really fancy staying there and paying 8€ for the privilege! We did fork out 3€ for 10 mins of water. It never takes 10 minutes to fill our tank as it's never completely empty. Lunched there and then set off to find a Super U for fuel and gas. Found that and did yet ...

... like no other. Its original centre is surrounded by Ramparts protecting it for the seas and enemys. Sadly they didn't prevent the nazis or the allies bombing it pieces as its postion has made it hugely important for hundreds and hundreds of years.80% of it disappeared during the second world war and it was rebuilt brick by brick. The Ramparts surround the new old city which sits on a penisula with lovely beaches on all sides, little islands are only accessible at low tide and the ...
