For once Garmin did itself proud, the roads were dry now it although it was cloudy, and we had some brilliant biking roads.
The only down side to picking 'shortest' is Garmin route planners will take you through some f**ker's front room if they could get away with it. So there was the occasional farm track and log pile but overall ...
Woke up at 6am to 'Two & half men' repeating opening titles "Men,men,men,men,menly men men men, ooohhh", laptop had been left on.
Went back to bed.
Next thing.....'Bing bong, ladies & gentlemen the boat will be docking in 15 minutes, please make your way to your vehicles'. But it's only 7am. The ticket says 8.15am.

DAY SIX - THURSDAY Today, we have finally rested for the night at Le Grouin du Sud, just north of Avranches. First we stopped at Carolles Plage, where we got fresh water. We didn't really fancy staying there and paying 8€ for the privilege! We did fork out 3€ for 10 mins of water. It never takes 10 minutes to fill our tank as it's never completely empty. Sadly they didn't prevent the nazis or the allies bombing it pieces as its postion has made it hugely important for hundreds and hundreds of years.80% of it disappeared during the second world war and it was rebuilt brick by brick.
