... cruise with lots of villages and nice houses along the way. Then we sailed into Montreal itself which was stunning . A beautiful city from the water. After lunch we went on our city bus tour which included walking to the magnificent Notre Dame Basilica. I am usually over churches by this stage of the trip but the interior was entirely made of timber and beautifully decorated. Walked to the Olympic Centre. Quite overcast so decided not to go up the incline to the top of the tower as visibility would be limited. Walked around the complex and found where the Metro station is. We will go into the city tomorrow by train.

Had dinner at a restaurant nearby - New York Bar and Grill which was very busy and noisy but served nice food.

... they had it under control and drove for a solid 7 hours. It was amazing to slowly see the landscape change while we were driving up north. On Sunday we decided to enjoy some more live music so after about 40 minutes we made it to the Mont Royal Park and Tam Tam Sunday.
