It was very special to join Clarissa for a girlie-soul-sister two days in Cap Ferret. The Cap Ferret is a cape forming a French coastal strip which lies at the southern end of the peninsula of Lege-Cap-Ferret in the Gironde. It seperates the Atlantic ocean and the Bay of Arcachon. We made our way there after Clarissa picked me up from the train station in Bordeaux.

Narly surfing time dude!
... deeper water and it massively freaked me out! Tried to swim back into shallower water but was no where near strong enough! I have such a huge amount of 'respect' for the sea and the big animals in it that I am very much scared of it! If my Dad/ Si or an inflatable isn't there to hang onto then I'm not great. Give me a pool any day :) any way I got back in after being pushed into better water by Si and we went back to sunbathe. ...
