... of wij hier de tent mogen opzetten. Ze is alleraardigst als ze ook hoort dat wij naar Santiago gaan. We mogen de tenten achter haar huis/kasteel opzetten en de wc en douches van het vakantiehuis gebruiken. Betalen mogen we niets. We staan nu helemaal alleen onder een paar grote bomen. Wat een verschil met dat campingdorp. Morgen wordt het 40+ graden. We spreken af om 5 uur op te staan. Vandaag 65 km en 690 hoogtemeters.

Case in point - sitting at a wine bar full of locals, edgy house music in the background, plate of charcuterie to nibble on; we practically blended in!. Until our glasses ran dry and we were required to order another round. (Cue the dramatic music.) To Justin's credit he had a stab at speaking French - unfortunately he ran out of vocab ...

Nydelig etappe med godt underlag for beina.
Varmen var heller ikke paatrengende.

I dag hadda vi flere fine opplevelser langs veien. Motte interessante mennekser og spiste to overdaadige maaltider.

Vi er noyaktig halveis paa turen. Saa no kan man si at nedteelingen i dager og kilometer er i gang. Men fortsatt en lang vei og mange dager for vi kan klatre over Pyreneene.

First disappointment

It turned out quite pleasant in the end.
Fortunately, when it was time to walk back up the hill to the hotel over 2kms away, the sun had softened and it wasn't too arduous after all.
We just went to bed when we got back and packed and left straight after breaky in the morning.
By the way, I think I'm turning French as I've taken to the cafe, tartine and croissants for my breaky and "I'm lovin' it"!!!
