After the excitement of the race had calmed down we headed out for a late lunch at Spag and Co, an Italian restaurant right on the finish line. It is now time to celebrate Fathers Day. Well... It's overcast and a little rainy which is a nice change from the heat of yesterday. Race day is meant to be fine . Amazingly magic afternoon evening complete with VIP banquet dinner , meeting new Canadian and American friends, great entertainment , team OZ photo, VIP viewing of stage area, U2 cover band , free drinks, fireworks and a deer sighting on the way back to the hotel ! Oh ... And the first song the band played at dinner ... Somewhere over ...
