Its a place that was very popular before high society all went over to the other side i.e Cannes, in the late 50's and in a way has had its heyday. But its glamourous past as a victorian era resort has been restored, the beaches are packed with surfer dudes, its coastline walks & paths all ...

They headed off and in another 20 minutes they had arrived in Biarritz, France with the parking fairy guiding them once again, ...

As we were checking in, they welcomed me by name before we got to reception. They said they were holding room service open for us to enjoy dinner before retiring. Quite perusing the menu,we each ordered exactly what sounded good. They delivered the salads first, 20 minutes later, the main course arrived, and 20 minutes after that the ...

... and at 11pm we understand why - the most incredible fireworks display for about 15 mins. Paul & I have never seen anything like it - spectacular - kids are in awe, and surprisingly still awake. You wouldn't believe the number of people here watching. Home via town, this place is alive, we have nothing like this in NZ, a town that lives right in the beach, the Mount is totally different. Beautiful too, but different. WOW, amazing day, kids are blown away and ready for ...
