... to fit all of our stuff into him. Either my packing is getting worse or we have all managed to sneak in some more shopping along our travels. We certainly appreciated the only 1 hr travel time this change over which equates to about 8 stink bombs from Jesse's ever more toxic derrière. There must be some really interesting gear in the lasagne's over here. Next changeover is a 5+ hour drive to Barcelona, that doesn't even bear thinking about.

Escaping the crowds we heading back to the tranquility of Bayonne and enjoyed a delicious Ice cream. Fantastic dinner of veal and salad. Vincent went off to play Pal-la an old Basque sport similar to Squash, played with a plywood bat. We wandered down later to watch him play which was eye opening. Walking home through the streets at 11pm the restaurants were still full. What a day in the Basque!! ...
... of hours at a Thai Cooking school in Chiang Mai 2 years ago. Their hospitality has been so generous to us its embarassing, we have had and incredible time and made great memories. We only hope that Melanie & Vincent will make it to the shores of New Zealand so we can show them some of our culture & beauty.

Wow.... at 4:00a.m. this morning, all three of us work up with a frightful stark...... the surf and waves began not onlu very LARGE, but we could feel the spray oon our faces, three stories up! Fascinating and frightening at the same time.
