... all the tapas bars showcasing the famous pintxos, a collection of finger food items spread out on the bar. It was Friday night, and Donostia (the basque name of the city) felt very much alive and socially vibrant, as its inhabitants wandered the pedestrian streets to meet up with friends and start entering tapas bars to enjoy local delicacies in an upbeat atmosphere. Last Tuesday we started our July classes and I have had an interesting time adjusting to the changes. First of all here is how it works: we took a placement test last month (oral and written) and got placed into levels based on our knowledge of the French language. I placed into a level B1++/B2 which is pretty high.
