Belgium: Where the beer is good, the chocolate is even better and the fries are always hot.
It is claimed that fries originated in Belgium, but don't say that to someone in France. Both countries claim ownership of the brilliant idea to fry up a potato and I think I am going to side with Belgium.
All over Brussels there were friteries, or fry shops, serving up fresh fries with a long list of sauces ...
... slow but they say their approach is that they are taking their time to savour and enjoy life. Maybe a lesson there for all of us.

And I think that was one of the best days in Namur)))
We were supposed to finish rolling grass after dinner. So Christian (the worker and the driver of "camion" - french word that means special work car for moving heavy things...) came on his "camion" to explain us where we had to put the rest of the grass.
Suddenly someone got a crazy idea to get in the camion in ...
... to decorate the hangar.
Then we helped one of the workers to unwrap old paper from Pamela (a big woman made of cellophane and decorated with colorful paper).
I tried to speak French with the workers because they didn't really know English. Sometimes I translated from French to English but my French wasn't so perfect to understand everything)))
Honestly we didn't do anything else except for hanging curtains and unwrapping Pamela...
