    Today we got up, had some pastry for breakfast and then caught the train.

    We asked the train information desk, we were told the way to go and we followed. Little did we know at the time, it was the wrong station to change at. The lady got the wrong station and thus it took us 3.5 hours instead of 2 hours to get to a little town called Durbury.

    Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. The sign that looks like a ghost busters sign means theres no speed ...

    ... evening. We ended up being stranded in a town in the middle of Nowhere, Germany and ended up staying the night in an odd little inn. We got up early the next morning to catch a 6:30am train and were back on our way. After a full 24 hours of traveling, we finally reached our hostel and were able to check in to our rooms at long last. It was a total fluke of a stop and although we never intended to, we added a pin in our map somewhere in northern Germany.

    ... a trend....every major Canadian memorial is manned and very well taken care of. How appropriate for the ones that did sacrifice so much. For once I found something I am happy my tax dollars are being used for.     Meanwhile we sat and chatted with the Dutchies, Eric, Alex and Jehlla, downing drinks and reminiscing about the race. Then two older English gentleman arrived, one the owner of a very sweet Aston Martin, who knew the boys from previous years and invited us to their cabin to drink out of the cold. Well then the rounds of beers started, and Taledaga Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby was played on their tv. A very lively conversation, laughs ...
