          ... After our museum visit we had lunch and visited a beautiful church. Next we found a boat museum that was open, where we saw many small boat models, which seems to be a reoccuing thing in Poitou-Charentes- it's very rich in boat histoy!
          As it was quite a chilly day we also spent a good wee while in a café drinking hot chocolate and defrosting before we decided to take an early train back as we had miscalculated a bit that Rochefort on a Sunday doesn't need ...

          ... here if you're in the area. £60 with breakfast. Parking outside free after 18.00hrs 19.30hrs. We're ready to dine. Off we walk to the square for a meal. Shucks, all shops and cafes shut. No more than ten people around! The town sleeps after 18.30,, oh great. Off to the local supermarket for a picnic in our palace. It was pleasant and cheap.           We left Rochfort on April 4th to sail home to Plymouth for the birth of Alice, our beautiful grandaughter, now it's time to take Sega back to her marina berth before travelling home in 2 weeks for the final preparations of the wedding of our youngest daughter Sophie to Chris, another wonderful and exciting event that we are so looking forward to.
