... a beautiful church on the inside, but the outside was spectacular, but for all the wrong reasons. Just didn't look good to me, but impressive. Such a lovely morning that we delay setting off and have a potter around Besancon. It is a really charming town and we will definitely come back again. Next to the parking lot was a single playground apparatus - A Round-a-Bout where you sit and spin yourself by using the center cylinder (description could be better - I have a great video if you must see it). I spun Caleb for a few hundred turns until it was time for us both to feel what Level 10 was ... I jumped on and spun us both. I literally fell over when I got off and thought I may see my lunch... Usson has literally no commerce to speak ...

We had farewell dinner with (of course) Baked Alaska as the dessert finale! It was delicious! They also served all a shot of bourbon... of which dad commanded "No sipping! Throw it all back!" haha so the four of us took our first family bourbon shot together!




Then it was time to pack everything up and prepare for departure tomorrow! More pictures below!!

... been more beautiful! Hardly a cloud!

We had to be back on board by 2:30 for departure and continuation down Le Rhone. We traveled down some Locks which are incredibly cool!! It is not only a feet from an engineering standpoint, but also from a maneuvering stand point by our (very cute!) Captain! A detailed video will come a bit later!

The rest of the day was spent laying around and reading... resting ...
