We arrived in Tournon after a night time cruise. Another quaint little town! We boarded a steam train for a trip up a mountain ( big hill really!)' , interesting guide talking about how they kept the German soldiers at bay up there, saw the train engine turn around, then headed back down the tracks.
we did a lovely walk around the town, only one Main Street before climbing to the terrace of the Chateau de Tournon for a lovely aperitif on the ...

... option for dinner was a pizza. Finally we reached the hotel at around 9pm and managed to connect to fast wifi - so we all updated our various social media pages and accepted all our friend requests!
