    ... get our supplies and head back to the hotel. We meet in Liz & Russ's room for drinks and the final download of photos from cameras and gopro. We even managed a bottle of creamy Limonchello. Dinner tonight was in the hotels restaurant. Liz had fish and the rest had veal schnitzel. The meals very large and full of flavour. Most enjoyable meal for our last dinner on the 2015 tour. Back to our room for a final Limonchello night ...

    This appears to be the centre of Europeanism and cafe culture (remember Tony wanted us all to have that so revised the licensing hours etc?
    Anyway, we took the train into the city to “do” it.
    Whilst lots of cities are the “same” each has it's own feeling and this place was good.
    On arrival at the station, it wasn't the marble of Monaco but clean enough and relatively quiet ...

    ... a district of France for shopping prices, lets start a petition NOW!
    Obernai is an attractive town, it seems that, being close to the border, there is a strong German influence and the market places reminded us of Butzbach but the drinks prices in the cafe we chose were very out of step so they won't be getting our custom again.
    It was pasta bake for tea, made by (wait for it) the Homepride Flour Grader with a little help from me. ...

    ... at the use of solar panels in Germany. It is common to see the whole roof of a house or commercial building covered with panels. I missed taking a photo of the Aldi shop in Achern which had a full window of data concerning their power generation from the panels on the roof. One building we counted had four rows of thirty six panels and then there were four shorter rows as well. I wonder if they get any sun at all in the winter but you would think with ...
