... town. Next we visited the Faberge museum and this was fantastic. We had a girl from Russia explain the collection. It all belongs to a wealthy Russian (VERY wealthy) And he houses it in Baden Baden because it is more secure there. I cannot imagine what it all would be worth. Unfortunately we could not take any photos. Had another hour or two in the thermal spa then relaxed dinner at an Italian restaurant. Love ...

Weather glorious again - perfect for sightseeing. Made our way to Triberg to see the highest waterfall in Germany. The walk was beautiful (and quite a strenuous uphill climb in parts) but with lots of tourists, strange about that!! We had a quick look at the town, including a shop with 1,000 cuckoo clocks. We weren't tempted to buy one, ...

... the river and we could see where it was still wet from the river flooding across it in the recent rains. We were lucky we hadn't embarked on this route even a few days earlier so this is something to be aware of if you are planning to cycle here.

We had been wondering when we should cross over the Rhine to the German side. We had been told by other cyclists that the path on the French side was better and the path ...
