... I said Magic in the Moonlight in
English, meaning that I said it the way I would if I was in a theatre in Canada
and not with a French accent. I’m wondering if there are viewings of American
films in English as well… but good, I expected it to be in French since I’m in
a movie theatre in France. Back to the movie, I thought the story line would be

... lived a few kilometres from Pau. They are very dear friends of a family we know. After asking a couple of people we found the house and once we explained who we were the elderly couple welcomed us like long lost friends! Only the gentleman spoke English, but the lovely woman kept telling us things, which her husband then interpreted. They then fussed over us, bringing out the dishes for our lunch, which included fois gras, then a lentil casserole, then cheeses, followed by ...

... nervous anticipation. Shane probably compares it to something completly different!!
We found our first site, thank goodness. A lovely little private run camp in a beautiful village Airvault in the Loire Valley. We decided to stay for a couple of nights and just have a breather and re-think. The girls had a ball riding bikes for the first time in 3months and we of course made it priority to find the local patisserie! Mmmmmm... We spoke with a few "seasoned" camping car drivers ...
