... through. Fri - day 3 Getting ready for a trip out in our new motor Eric checks the boot ( dry locker at front of dinghy) and there is a lot of water in it! After bailing out it still keeps coming in so we decide another trip back across the lagoon to point out our problem! A mystified service man can't see where the problem is so decides to hoist the dingy out the water to check the bottom. No damage no holes so he decides to open the valve on the bottom to see what is ...

... drove to and through a few of the key Dutch areas and had important sites pointed out to us (since we docked on the Dutch side). Specific highlights included The Great Salt Pond, Orient Bay, the village of Grand Case, a Rum Factory and Fort Louis. There are a couple of huge 1000+ cabin cruisers in dwarfing our beautiful yacht. Greeted on the pier by the captain and some of his crew. Managed to get up the moving gang plank and onto the Tropical Deck to be greeted by more crew with non-alcoholic cocktails and a buffet of afternoon tea type snacks. We are amongst the first to board and ...

... to pass just ahead of them both.

We had no waypoint for the finish and relied on watching all the boats still in front of us to see where they were going. Even if we could see the finish Race Committee boat at that distance, our view would have been blocked by the other boats. Eventually we spotted the finish line, right where we thought it might be, and crossed among a crowd.

We knew we were again first in our class on ...

... and Nicholas were fishing. I stood around the BBQ with Devin and Bernardo, just joking around, laughing – a typical Grand Case Friday night. Willow caught a big fish and Nicholas gutted it and threw it on the grill. Devin said Nicholas made the best sauce top fish with, but he hadn’t made any that night. I made Nicholas promise me that he would make his famous fish for me sometime. He complied. I wanted to get something to drink, so Devin, ...
