... our bus tried to make the hairpin turn, it became jackknifed in the middle of a 6 way intersection.

Yep. After surviving the tunnel we managed to get on the bus that would jack knife in the middle of the road. So, the bus driver shuffled everyone off the bus and Leah and I began the long walk home (actually only like 15 minutes) covered in dust.

Thank goodness we leave France tomorrow. Hopefully Italy has fewer catastrophes in store for ...

... looked so lovely. They have rocks instead of sand which I thought would be okay because the rocks are flat and sort of large. That was not the case. They hurt so much! Trying to get in was hard because there are little rocks in between the larger ones but they are sharp and small. The water was cold but once you out your head under the water it was nice. ... on time and caught the local train into France. It was crowded because it was a public holiday. That's the third public holiday we have struck in sIxteen days. Found accommodation after a bus ride and walk up a big hill. View of Nice very nice.

So we boated, trained, buses and walked today. Maybe we should have flown

... Northern France. We would come back, but not to Paris. Hannah cannot do a French accent to save her life, it sounds Indian…so weird. The women are very VERY thin and have very small breasts (in general). One of our guides told us that no one is fat because they don’t eat, they just drink coffee and wine and smoke cigarettes…no wonder the food sucks. France has excellent sweets and bread…we’ll definitely miss ...
