    ... People everywhere with their arms stretched out doing the usual photos. Andrew went mad with the camera again and then went mad at me cos I couldn't get the right angle of him holding up the tower with his nose!!!     ... and the other varies between just a rest space to one with toilets and some seem to have restaurants as well. Both types are called Aire then a name which I think is what the area or stop is called. The rest ones only have a seesaw sign. Both Trace and I loved seesaws growing up so we must stop and see if we actually get to play on a seesaw - will keep you posted. Think I fell instantly in love with Nice.     A nice day in Nice. Walked westward down the promenade from the hostel towards the port. Enjoyed the large produce and flowers market (with accompanying music and shows) on the side of Old Nice and the promenade skirting the citadel's cape. Took in the views from the cape 90m above the water. There wasn't much left of the citadel (ordered dismantled in the 1700s) but there was a nice man made waterfall. Enjoyed the sun.     ... to the higher and faster highway, still within sight of the sea but high above the cliffs. This route was also beautiful; built into the mountains it is full of tunnels, fast cars, and huge trucks. Later, Charlie counted 105 tunnels in the Italian riviera section alone!
