... t have known. We did however see a groundhog on the way in and a deer was waiting at the top of the hill. There were also plenty of squirrels running around, but as we have them back home they're not so exciting. But next time we'll be better prepared, armed with insect repellent and we shall have vengeance on the ...

Left Ottawa at 8am this morning and arrived at Parc Omega at about 9.30 to board an open bus to explore the large nature reserve where we anticipated seeing buffalo, bears, deers, wolves and moose which we did although the moose was a bit shy so the photos are a bit dark.I have included just a few of the shots I took. ... an amazing way to see the race. Best part ... The finish . I get access to the finish line. I get a special helper who brings me the medal and videos me putting it on Royce . He looks buggered and a bit shaky and the medic comes and checks on him Lucky I've seen it before . He's ok after a while.why do they do this? The medal is huge! It is such a wonderful achievement . Royce says "swim was good , ride was hard but doable, felt good off ...

Slow start this morning. Laundry duties! Very exciting! Nicole did a bike ride and a run. We headed out just before lunch. We drove to what they call old Mont Tremblant. It was where they first had lodges and restaurants. It was quite interesting but no where near as pretty as Mont Tremblant Village.

We then went back to our room to meet Nicole. We then all headed down to the IRONMAN Village so that she could rack her bike. The bike area is now half full. It ...
