    ... at least she said there was a mosquito there! But I think this battle the mosquitoes won. It's a shame as the park is really nice, but the constant harassment of the bugs detracted from the experience. Somehow we persevered and walked to the top of one of the mounts (but not the full hike we had planned). The constant swatting meant we weren't taking in our surroundings fully.     After the excitement of the race had calmed down we headed out for a late lunch at Spag and Co, an Italian restaurant right on the finish line. It is now time to celebrate Fathers Day. We had a great lunch but also watched some amazing athletes cross the line. By this stage most of them were in the 60 to 64, 65 to 69, 70 to 74, 75 to 79 and 80 to 84 age groups.     ... an amazing way to see the race. Best part ... The finish . I get access to the finish line. I get a special helper who brings me the medal and videos me putting it on Royce . He looks buggered and a bit shaky and the medic comes and checks on him Lucky I've seen it before . He's ok after a while.why do they do this? The medal is huge! It is such a wonderful achievement .
