campsite a bit disappointing compared with what we have been at on our travels so far. Not overly friendly, seems more focussed towards French clientele. The surrounds and scenery are beautiful, mountains as far as can be seen. Must be excellent for winter ski season too. Hot still. Summer has certainly hit! ...

Than we went to bed and watched an episode of the Arrow. 12th We had a good sleep, had our first breakfast in the sun and left around 10:30. We drove throttle little village of Vittel and bought a baguette for on the way. Through the beautiful country side on the secondary roads we enjoyed the sceneries and calm. The ...

    SOME SURPRISES - 140 MILES

Monday morning and we leave base and climb into cloud, hopefully heading
for Grand Ballon along La Route Des Cretes in the Vosges but unable to see anything, stop for a coffee on the tops and there are cows in the field with bells - sounds like we are
at a music school, cloud lifting and off we go for the 55 mile La Route Des
    Cretes around the ...
