    Another fantastic (not so relaxing) day! My morning started early as hundreds of people were yelling outside my window as there was a Tough Mudder type event happening in town called the D-Day Race.  There were obstacles set up all around the town and luckily right through my neighbour's yard and alley way.  The screaming started around 5:30 am and my alarm was set for 6:30.  We caught a bus at 7am into Caen (it’s a milk run and takes ...

    ... my Normandy experience! I had chicken in a cider sauce with fries. More importantly, I got a great view of Omaha beach during dinner! I struck up a conversation with a man from California who also was here for DDAY and he described the trip perfectly.
