    It was the day that Tom Tom really came into play! We knew that the mountain roads would be closed for Le Tour but nobody was able to tell us what time exactly! We started early and very soon encountered the gendarmerie closing roads - it was chaos...camper van drivers throwing fists at police, barriers closing roads.
