one night of the year, this place is really special. Very difficult to get to...... very difficult, nearly impossible to get accommodation on land. Very difficult to get a mooring as well. You will definitely have to book at least a year in advance to stand any chance whatsoever. And
because of all these things, I now understand exactly why the super rich and jet set go there. And as we would say in England, NO RIFF RAFF ALLOWED! By Order!

I had the tandoori chicken - two large pieces of chicken on a bed of fried rice - there was no question that this was my best meal. It was succulent and moist, I love chicken and this was some of the best I have ever had.
... about an hour sightseeing drive, we arrived at a dock to take a double-decker pontoon style boat (the Explorer) to the French side capital city of Marigot. One member of the crew had a DJ setup on the second deck and entertained us during the 30 minute ride. He has a great voice. ... up several towels (obviously they are left from yesterday i think and dump them in the used laundry hopper) and adopt a lounger. read my book in the early morning sun. The Germans return and say nothing and go off and get more towels. if only i had God Save the Queen on my iPad. Too hot to be on or around the beach although there is a decent off shore breeze today (obviously a freak storm brewing tonight for our sailing tomorrow) ...
