... is stunning, especially in winter. the water is frozen, there is snow everywhere and the ships were all covered in snow. Across the port I saw probably the most incredible building I have ever seen in my life. I didn't even know this building existed until I saw it, but it is called habitat 67. it was originally designed by an architecture student and than built in 1967 for the Expo 67 held in Montreal. ... we would have paid a parking fee. Was a lovely walk through the the autumn sugar maple trees reminded us of the trail walking we did with Terry and Diana. Lots of trails here through the hill (mountain) side but we stayed on the main roadway to Chalet du Mont-Royal where you can see all of Montreal took a video and photos before going down the stairs to the bottom of the hill (mountain) to Montreal.
