    ... something you do everyday it just becomes routine. I've come so far over the last few months, and my biggest regret would be to let it regress. I still have a long way to go as well, so my hope is to not only continue when I return but get even better too!

    If anyone has suggestions on ways I can keep these up in the US (read as: if anyone knows a single male with beautiful hair haha), let me know! Excited to be reunited soon.

    Most Americans believe that the French are not too fond of us. We hear stories of people who traveled to Paris and were amazed at the coldness of the waitstaff at the café or the blank stares of strangers on a train. I was so afraid to open my mouth on the plane ride over here because so many of the other passengers were French, and I thought they would view me as just another ignorant American.

    ... to see! It's a bit of a struggle, but hopefully she'll be more comfortable with me over the next few weeks.

    Overall, my first week has been a definite learning experience. I still feel a little out of place, but everyday I am beginning to feel more and more at home. In the next few weeks, I will hopefully establish more of a regular schedule and be able to explore more of the area and Paris. I love hearing from all of you, so keep the comments and messages coming!
