We left Sauvignone soon after 09:00 and took the autostrade to Turin and then onwards to Briancon. We stopped at Momtgenevre where relatively fresh snow had been swept for the road into piles on the car park. This was hard to believe as it was actually 20c with brilliant sunshine when we were there! The views of the Alps with snow covered tops, ...
... how many Jambon baguettes can one man eat - only option so...yum yum. The park houses a good number of animals including some monkeys who swung around for us, lion, bear, giraffe and more. I like zoos still! We freshened up and walked over to Old Lyon and found a place with a great patio and some nearby musicians playing for the crowds. Walked back to the car and ate what we had: for me grated carrots, brie, ham and tomato slices. Just lime a salad. Not bad at all after all. Flexibility is the key! From there to Les 2 Alpes where ...
After class on Friday, we had a class field trip to the Silk Museum in Lyon. I thought that this museum was much cooler than the Lumiere museum. I learned a lot about the silk industry and the history of silk in France. After the museum, our teacher took us to the best ice cream place in Lyon, which is in a beautiful square. We all ordered beautiful and huge ice cream sundaes, but I have to say they tasted even better than they ...
