Finally we reached the hotel at around 9pm and managed to connect to fast wifi - so we all updated our various social media pages and accepted all our friend requests!     ... overrated, but still, it's an experience that you shouldn't miss. Norte dame is probably the most intricately built buildings I've ever seen. I love it. Every detail seems to have been given enormous consideration and attention. Brilliant. For my birthday, we had dinner on an island in a big park on the west side of the city.     Everyone was a bit disgruntled going into day three, we were doing verrine a which are desserts layered in small glasses. It ended up being a lot more interesting than we first thought. I made a pistachio pannecotta with strawberry Jelly and topped with pistachio crumble.     Hey all!

    After class on Friday, we had a class field trip to the Silk Museum in Lyon. I thought that this museum was much cooler than the Lumiere museum. I learned a lot about the silk industry and the history of silk in France. After the museum, our teacher took us to the best ice cream place in Lyon, which is in a beautiful square.
