Historical Traveler Reviews of Lc Sheraton Imperial Kl Kuala Lumpur
Sheraton Imperial is Wonderful
from paulpiper
Just returned from Kuala Lumpur and absolutely loved the Sheraton Imperial. The service was outstanding and the staff could not have been more accommodating. The location is great with the monorail system only a short five minute walk from the hotel. We had a one-bedroom suite with wonderful amenities. The prices were extremely reasonable. There are also some great restaurants near by. Great spa and superb options.
Luxorius

We stayed at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur's Executive Club Room. They offer an upgrade for a very reasonable price and it's worth every penny.
Executive Club floors' service is excellent with e.g. complimentary butler & loundry services.
Service as a whole was excellent, the hotel is luxorious. Room was big and very nice, bathroom excellent. The view from 37th floor competed with Petronas Towers' sky bridge views.
The gym was the best I've found in any hotel ever.
Great hotel
from Akky
I stayed here for half a month in April for company's business training. Hotel were luxurious, clean and gorgeous big room, nice amenities, nice swimming pools, variety of restaurants were good, convenient location (2stations were available, some restaurants are near by), friendly staff.
Only one complaints was the room was not quiet in the night. I thought some dance clubs were close by, so almost around the midnight, noisy bong-bong-bong sounds started everyday while I was here.
The Sheraton Imperial is okay

I stayed at the Sheraton Imperial in a clubroom for 5 nights during June 2005. This hotel is quite nice, althought I did stay at better hotels in Kuala Lumpur (like the Mandarin Oriental). Service was avearage (had to carry my own suitcases in the hotel), did expect better from a Sheraton hotel (luxury collection. Rooms where nice, same goes for the bathroom. Will I go back to this hotel, no I do not think so. Next time I will stay at the Mandarin Oriental or the new Hilton.
Nice Room and Pool; and convenient

Just stayed at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Upgraded to Club Room. Room is nice and clean; Service is not bad. Executive club lounge is a bit small, but staff are friendly. Very near the monorail station, which gets you to almost all the shopping areas. Overall experience is good.
Fantastic hotel with service to match
from Zak_and_Family
Stayed at the Sheraton for 10 nights and had a fantastic time. From the moment you enter the hotel and see the sweeping staircase to the excellent bedrooms you just begin to relax. We stayed in an Executive room for 1 night which was truly wonderful and then decided to upgrade to a Suite for the rest of the holiday. What can I say? The suite was comfortable, quiet, spacious and beautifully decorated with your own butler. The breakfast buffet was excellent as were the restaurants. My only negative comment would be the pool and I agree with previous comments that it is a bit neglected and you need to go looking to order poolside food. Also, with two young children we found that the pool is not suitable for young children as it gets deep very quickly. There is no childrens pool.
Overall a great hotel and we have already booked to go back this summer.
Exceeds expectations!

I chose this Sheraton for both of my last stays in October and November of 2004 for a total of five weeks. There is absolutely nothing that was disappointing to me about this hotel. The business center, restaurants, and room were excellent. The concierge staff in the lounge always provided outstanding service, good humor, and an enjoyable business stay. The bellmen and all of the staff could not have been nicer. I look forward to my next stay at the Sheraton Imperial when I am in KL.
Very Nice Hotel
from Tygaman
We stayed for 5 nights and found the hotel to be excellent. The hotel was well located with restaurants nearby and walking distance to the Monorail and LRT stations. This made areas such as Chinatown and KLCC easily accessible.
The hotel itself was magnificent. We stayed in an executive room with Petronas Tower views after initially being given the standard room despite an upgrade being included in our package. The room was huge and had everything in it you would need. The breakfast (not included in our package) was fantastic but a little expensive.
The pool area was not great but there were plenty of deck chairs and the pool itself was clean.
The hotel staff were excellent and very friendly. The only downside was the irritating situation where our room cards kept expiring meaning we had to go to reception a few times to get them reset.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in a 5 star hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
A taste of Elegance!

Hi! I stayed at the Sheraton early this year with my husband as part of our honeymoon to Malaysia. One word which sums up the hotel in one hit is ELEGANCE. Everything about this hotel is sheer Elegance from the customer service to the rooms and not to mention the location of the hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay and i must admit i was taken away by the architecture of the lobby and the stair case. I defintly recommend this hotel to anyone who loves first class. It is an ideal place for honeymooners, couples and business people. One thing to note is the closeness to the shopping centres and the safety in the area. thank you for making our stay a memorable experience.
Sheraton is a good bet!

Good Location and excellent service in the hotel, only let down is that the poolside area was a bit neglected and the outdoor bar was unattended for long periods which meant residents having to go inside the hotel to find some staff members.
Skytrain/Monorail station is 50m from the hotel, good access to other areas of KL and very clean and efficient
Rooms are excellent, well managed especially on the Executive Floor, club room is well staffed and service was good.
Restaraunts are well serviced but not well used by the locals, except Via Danneli (Italian), which is excellent and worth the visit.
