... San Marco. It was around 10am and the st mark's line was already super long. The campanile line wasn't too bad, so we hopped in that to buy our elevator ticket to the top. Our total was 32 euro, and I smartly got out two 20s and a 2 euro coin, so I would get a 10 back. If you don't do that, almost everywhere they will ask you for the 1 or 2 euro coin, so you get back a bill. Not sure if they are doing that for themselves, or trying to save you the hassle of having too many ...

Venice is a really fun city to arrive in by rail, as we discovered some years ago during our honeymoon. We walked over to the Accademia to see a special Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit. The most famous drawing on display was Vitruvian Man. The first time many of these drawings, including ...

... he then told us he liked the All Blacks better than the Wallabies, at that point we left the restaurant. Another train back to the hotel and the day was done. The next morning before we left for Paris we went back to the Island and did some more exploring. We walked around the Island, and had lunch at Ignazio's, a restaurant I will be heading back to. Beautiful food, and great company. We then prepared for our train trip to Paris. That was an interesting ...

Today we drove to Porto Cervo and walked through the marina where we saw huge fancy yachts and stores. A Ferrari cafe, Maserati bikes and cars, and chic boutiques. Then we drove the Costa Smeralda. Ad took our plane to Rome. When we arrived at Rome we met even more family, Zia Lella, her son Paulo and his wife. We drive around Rome and had an overview of the colosseum, The Vatican, and Rome. We had dinner in a street patio where we had delicious pasta and ...
