... I really enjoyed Lanta, not just because I got legitimate kitty cuddles, but because the whole place seemed so laid back and relaxed. It might have been just as geared up for tourism as the other islands, but it just seemed more gentle and less pushy. Less built up. We also had some great Thai food here, and they seemed so just smile and look slightly disappointed when you asked for the curries to be mild, but there was no real judgment. It was nice... we also had good burgers here...
