    ... got a very through history lesson but we didn,t get enough time to view the museum on our own. We went right from that to lunch to getting on the bus. There is are a couple of exhibits I would have liked to see, but there wasn,t time. If I was going to go to Normandy again, I would have spent 2 days there. You could easily spend a week.

    Both magnificent in their own way. Travelled up from Burgundy day before yesterday via Chartres where we had visited before and had remembered the magnificence of the cathedral. The city though was full of traffic and one way streets which was challenging. We then stayed in a small town nearby in a guesthouse run by a bit of a romantic!     We left San Saen with plenty of information from our host who gave us very good ideas about what to see and do on our travels . Our first stop was Dieppe , not the city or port fortunately because it is a really big place , but a chateau on a bluff overlooking the city a great view and we found it with little trouble!     ... miss a cog and does some kinda wild roll through all the gears..lots of grinding sounds that end with solid CLUNK..and it is at speed....so I look behind me to see if there are bolts or an oil slick or smoke and so far nope I'm glad to report, but its weird to feel it and see the gear numbers roll through on the display.

    Also....lot of rubber on the tires still ..yay....definitely wearing though. My bike accelerates about the same...but this ...

    ... as its fun and when I did hit the highway...its speed limit is 130 so the norm is about 140...I like to pass a bit...so 145 it was....the bike likes the speed but it does not handle the wind as well as the RT....makes no sense the K1600 is the flagship.
    Either way in no time I was in Trouvaille. Its a cool town. right on the ocean...and has a river running through it. First stop.... a cafe in centre ville for a beer. I sat there ...
