... to scores of hippies flocking here in the late 60's to take up rent free residence in the caves used for burials in Roman times.
We parked at the beach, there were a couple of other tourist cars parked, but no sign of the hippies, we were expecting groups of wrinkled faces with grey ponytails to be here!

... the attractive harbour from the circular Vousismeni Lake who's shore is lined with cafes and restaurants. It wasn't far and we parked at the harbour and walked through the town to the others side where there was a marina. There were four campers parked in the marina car park, it must be a popular site for overnight stops. We walked through the marina, there appears to be more boats in dry dock than in the water. A couple of times we drop down to the sea, it's a beautiful pale turquoise colour today, yesterday it looked green, it's fascinating how the colour appears to change each day.
