The hotel is pretty cheerless but only for two nights. We walked down into town to find a meal, the weather is pretty miserable but we have been so lucky so far and tomorrow promises to be ...

... life, but definitely acts as a golden handcuff. The prospect of this ending in mid-August for at least 18 months is rather scary. Other than that, it's just my flat and furry friend to sort out, and my car and a few belongings to go into storage, then I'm good to go. Well, nearly. All sorts of minor administrative matters to sort out. I'm keen to keep my plans as much of an open book as possible so don't want to tie myself down to ...
