The Cathedral took 632 years to complete. During the war, 90% of the central city was destroyed. Eau de cologne was originated here in 1709 by the Farina family. They have excavated the Jewish settlement a little more than on my last trip and plan to open an underground museum within 2 years. We visited 7 Christmas markets as the weather was nice. Low 40s and breezy. We also went to the chocolate ...

... rude early morning start we were off to the meet & great at Stansted airport, a CSL service that neither of us had used before but I now thoroughly recommend to Stansted patrons. ... riverboats...it's numerous attractive bridges and it's passing barges is a lively place.. Unfortunately it's popular river crossing cable car attraction, built over 50 years ago does not run in the winter months. It would be a great view of the city also.. (€4.50 well spent too)

Thanks for the couple of days within your inner city Cologne.. You truly are a captivating city!

... town' (the guys, I had fries) and now I'm already on the bus again. Next stop are my auntie, uncle and cousins! I wish time wouldn't always fly. I wonder if there will be a time in my life where it will slow down again? So, I decided to keep the blog running. Probably not as frequently updated, but I want to record what I cultural differences I notice now that I come back with a different view of the world. Thanks to all for the great welcome ...
