... had a fantastic ride through lovely villages, flooded roads in places and a few stretches of great bends. I had lunch and refuelled in Croatia to use up some of my Croatian kuna and shortly after re-entering Slovenia I was back on the route that was being used by the rest of the group. ... I was almost dead when we got up to the top! I was sweating so bad and looked like a red faced monster! I wasn’t pleased therefore that there were 4 Belgium lads sat up there drinking beer when we arrived, I was embarrassed!
