We had breakfast with Miranda this morning before she headed off back home. Scored a metro card and some sunscreen (thanks Miranda). While having dinner last night we decided it might be a good idea to send a few things home that we either weren't using or little souvenirs we have collected so far. So off we headed to Los Correos (the post office) to attempt what may appear a simple and straightforward task, but ...

... out for one last visit to El Born and Barri Gotic. After a little window shopping and people watching, we stopped one more time for churros con chocolate. The churros we had today were covered in sugar (similar to the churros from home) and we both agree our Madrid churros and chocolate experience was tastier. This is it for the dark haired man. Hopefully he will surface. Going to see the black Madonna at Montserrat also. Big day planned tomorrow. Last day here so we're going out with a bang! Shout out to my Canadian peeps who are now following my blog. Especially Raul who's "going to read my blog religiously" ...

... recognised as a crazy genius. I spent a good hour and a half just walking around, staring up at the ceiling. Next I detoured to go look at the Hospital de la Santa Creu I Sant Pau before heading towards the next Gaudi building: La Pedrera. On the way I walked past a backpack store and replaced my poor knifed open back pack. I'm sure I could have found a good market to get one cheap but ain't nobody got time for that when there's Gaudi to see. As ...
