... Picasso Museum just after 9am - we have mastered the metro system in Barcelona (it is a very user friendly system). We spent a couple of hours wandering through the museum and it was enjoyable most of the time - there was a group of Chinese tourists who just swamped in front of a painting without any regard for the other people around, which was a bit annoying. We were able to get ahead of them and that made things more enjoyable. ...

... tonight's dinner did not disappoint. We split steamed mussels for the appetizer, then Monica ordered the grilled salmon and I had the seafood paella. Both were excellent. We've had a fun time eating in Spain and really enjoyed all of the different local food we've been able to try. Our train to Paris leaves at 9:20 tomorrow morning, so we're calling it an early night. We had a really fun time in Barcelona (and Spain as a whole) and we're now looking forward to our 5 days in ...

We then hiked to the Sagrada Familia via the Arc de Triomfe (Barcelona version, not the one in Paris, that would've been a very long ...

... we get a good view of the city. This lasts about 4 hours and we see heaps and heaps of sights. Well worth going on as Barcelona is such a large city and it gave us time to get our bearings.
We then head home and a few Estrella Damms at the local happy jack bar. They have changed uniform tonight as it is white shirts , last nights was blue ( we are locals now ) and then had chicken and salad tonight for dinner. A few more ales and cava and time for ...

... As my camera battery was dying, I had to save some for the Magic Fountain later on, but the views of the city and the docks were great from up there. On the way back down I stopped at the midway stop and discovered a lovely little garden with a waterfall fountain and spent some time there writing my blog. Afterwards I made my way down to Plaça d'Espanya which was absolutely amazing. At this point I was really cursing my low battery. There are ...
