... 5 days on it 'cabin fever' has never been a more appropriate term! however it was fun and i was relieved to see i can still use my legs after laziness! I am off tommorrow for a 5 day trek around torres del paine, which i am off to buy supplies and a sleeping bag for. There is a little crew of us going which should be good, however without a tent of my own i am hoping for hospitable neighbours....

After haggling for a while the Tur bus operators realised that it was only myself travelling by minibus to the Estacion Central and that Colin was merely there to see me off. ... Olympics too. A really nice guy. Everyone seems really lovely and helpful and I am super happy to be here. There is a funny burnt smell everywhere, which is because of the type of fireplaces people use to heat up their houses. My castellaño still needs some improvement but I get about 70% of what people say, which is a great start.
