... day we caught a local bus to Termas de Chillán. It left at 0750, so after a quick breakfast we ran to the bus station to catch the bus. The journey took two hours and we climbed to an elevation of 1700m. The Mountains in this part of Chile are much lower in elevation than Northern Chile, around the Atacama and Santiago. Mt Chillán is 3170m.

Andrew and I had a great day wandering around the resort and later on soaking in the hot springs. There weren't many people ...
