Day 3 (Monday 9th of February)
From Madrid to Sotogrande
After driving a significant distance yesterday, today we had a relatively short drive of abt 650km to Sotogrande in Southern Spain, from where we will take the ferry to Morocco on Tuesday.
We had breakfast with Dennis and Ton from team Rhino and then left Madrid together. We sticked together all day right till the finish at Hotel Las Camelias.

After tea we'd planned to take ourselves to the camp bar for an evening drink. And, what a treat! (ha ha) a one-man band started his set just as we were getting ready! The bar was full of campers in their best fleecy tops clapping along to the music - mostly a backing ...
... top of the rock road so I keep following it around the rock...its cool the rock has gun ports all over it and vents and openings...its a bunker / fortress with antennae all over it.
Hmmm the road took me to the back side now...I found the dump....nice. But no road to the top. Where it looks like you can turn it's blocked gated electrified with signs like touch it you die. Access denied. Then I see Brit patrols walking about with full kit on and ...
