We rented a car for a day and went for a beautiful drive. Scary at times because it was so narrow and you would accross a bus.... I closed my eyes for that part! The food was delicious and the people super nice.
Had a great time!
This summer I went to the Canary Islands with my friends. We did a lot of things there; we went to the swimming pool, partying, to the dune beach, and to the aqua park party...
Also, one day we went to one beach where there were a lot of water sports and we practised the motorskying, parasailing and a los of things.
Finally we come back to Spain with hangovers and our bodies very pained becouse we fell many ...
... the week we attended a number of events including a “masked ball” which was great fun.
The atmosphere here is one of excitement and anticipation. We can’t wait to get started!
Our start is midday Tuesday and so we will probably be sending our next blog later on Tuesday or during Wednesday.

Electricity is in the air - the weather is BAD!! 1 day before the race start - the skippers have returned from the skippers briefing and have been glued to the weather reports for the last 24 hours! The main start to the rally has been postphoned until Tues as they are predicting 6m waves and ...
... exhilarated. Even though we marvel in being able to walk around the boat without leaping from handrail to handrail, eagerly looking forward to a full nights sleep and a chance to socialise with each over a cold beer, we are also a little bit sad that our action-packed journey has come to an end.
Huge thank you to Paul, Di, Chris, and Mark the professionals who kept us safe, upbeat, and learning all the time. Their unwavering patience was much appreciated!!
