... go for Kathleen's daily ice cream fix but it is a disappointment. The girl in the shop has a terrible attitude and seems to view customers as pests. Kathleen wants a dulce leche flavour. The girl makes one up but it does not look right. Kathleen queries it but the girl insists its right. It turns out not to be but by this time life is too short. We drive on to Vilalba and check in at the Parador. Then we go out for ...

Leaving a little late due to sleeping and maintenance but good job we checked as fan belt was about to go so we had to quickly change it before heading out. It was a very intense day, but we are very content. Fully enjoyed beautiful nature on the coast. Now we are back in the old castle room with glasses of wine, ham, cheese and some chocolates. :)

Tomorrow we will take a look around Vilalba and head to one of the highlights of this trip (more so for Greg) - Santiago de Compostela.

We left Carino mid morning and headed west. There was a bit of a swell but nothing as bad as a couple of days back. We originally were planning on heading for A Coruna but with the lack of wind we decided to go into the next Ria some 12 miles away.

We anchored in one of the prettiest Rias (in our opinion) so far.
