Definitely the highlight of the trip so far. A superb mountain range in the heart of Asturias. Drove up a steep road full of narrow passings to a couple of beautiful lakes 'Lago de Ercina' and 'Lago de Enol'. We ventured up to Covadonga , a small village that is dominated by a church and a shrine built into a rock face. From here we went further up the mountain road to the lake ... quite a hairy drive with parts of the road unfenced leaving a spectacular drop! Seonaid really enjoyed the drive up!!!!!!.
