        ... than to say, they were GOOD! We caught the bus to the airport, and them said a very emotional goodbye to each other. Now if you can imagine how close you can get traveling together for 4 1/2 months, you can imagine how emotional this goodbye was. It was tough, but I know I'll see her again as soon as I get home. I thought of all the amazing things that Rachel was as a traveling companion, and once again was so incredibly, very thankful for her!! ...

        A sunny day for our crossing, so we went up on deck and met several dog owners exercising their pets, plus other people doing various interesting trips. Once back in the cabin, Tricia set about writing christmas cards!! There won't be much time for that once we return, so it is a good idea.

        ... we hoped would be better. Next stop was the Correos. We sent quite a bit of stuff ahead to Gijón, I think it was about 8kg, mostly Abby's stuff, some of mom's, and my old boots. We did some window shopping, and met for the absolute best burger I've ever had at Manolis.
