It was 95 F so headed back to our hotel after enjoying a gelato. After a hotel rest we took a street walk and found a charming street Café Varale. We are starting to eat like locals already. (Guide books would lead you to believe no one dines until 10 PM. Simply not true in Madrid, but there are certainly lots a people eating at that time. Don't the kids ever go to bed?)

... Disney's Cinderella castle. We went through and saw some beautiful rooms. I am always impressed by the sumptuous ceiling decorations. We had some free time to walk around before meeting at a restaurant for lunch. And what a lunch!! Segovia is known for it's roast suckling pig and that is what we had. ... or you can get tickets for everything except the Nazir palace. Unfortunately, when I checked online a few days in advance, all of the tickets for the ENTIRE month of April were sold out (for the general tickets). Whoops! Should have booked further in advance.
