... of our hotel balcony. There we spent the evenings walking along the waters edge into town and out along the Mediterranean. I was convinced that the matador wouldn't kill the bull as the bull was huge and I couldn't see how they would remove it from the arena. ... a hard time finding jobs. They were educated people, one was a computer engineer and the other was a HPE teacher, yet, after being laid off in the previous month, they'd been unable to find more work. To look in the bright side, at least they were in the fortunate situation of being able to consider other options, like moving abroad, which is not something that's achievable for the majority of the population.
