Disappearing Act

That dog we hear in the distance during the night sounds very close right now. Out the window behind the cottage we can see cows walking back home and that dog keeping them moving. Some of them walked right in front of the property along the road earlier. Jose told us that the couple that has the cows brings them to and from their grazing field via the road out front, and that the woman walks in front of the cows and the man drives behind them in an old Mercedes Benz!

Stop Out in Spain: Madrid, Sevilla, and Granada
... colors and adds sparkle just before the sun dips beyond the city skyline. It was interesting to see so many locals riding the bikes that are available throughout the city with special docking stations that allow you to just grab a bike and go wherever you need, then drop it off at another station when you arrive – a great system. I also loved seeing the city streets lined with citrus trees, all bearing fruit.

Meeting dad in Madrid! & discoteca time!
On Friday, the 24th, our program went on an excursion to Madrid for the day. My friends and I however, decided to take the opportunity to stay overnight and experience the night-life in a bigger Spain city, aka the capital. This might have been the best/worst idea we've had yet!
