... the disco staff practically kicked us out. It was *only* 2 a.m. and we were still wide awake. So Montreal, Toronto, Saskatchewan and London headed to the resort's sports bar.
Some of us sat down and chatted while some played pool. We were joined by more travelers from Virginia and New York and just hung out until the sports bar closed.
It was now 4 a.m. and needless to say, some just were not ready to crash, others had crashed long ago, and ...
... bar wanting a beer. At this point there are about 7 food orders ready so the employee says "one moment" and goes to deliver the food to the tables. The Americans figure they are too important to wait and deserve their beer immediately, so they reach behind the bar and poor themselves their own beer. Sabrina and I were scandalized. ... the morning sun rising over the pool. So upstairs we went and wow....it was absolutely beautiful. Stuie looked at me and said "happy valentines Kar." As we watched the morning sun, Stuie gave me a little plastic bag. A winding path lead us along through the jungle, alone I was a little sacred when we reach a sign warning us about snakes, we weaved through the mangroves along a makeshift log path (which by the way was lethal, I slipped few times) we arrived at a clearing which revealed a beautiful pool of crystal clear water. Yesterday was the final evening for the second leg of our trip. For the special occasion, we went to CoCo Bongo here in Playa del Carmen. Oh my goodness was it fantastic! It's pretty much Vegas but 10x better... not that I would know since I've never been, but that's what everyone says and why wouldn't I believe that? ;) Pretty much it's a club with dancing and drinking and you get to see a show that lasts about three hours.
