This was a tedious day. First we laid in the sun til we got hot, then we swam in the Caribbean to cool off. Repeat that about 5 times. Throw in lunch on the beach with our feet in the sand somewhere in the middle. After so much tedium, we retired to our cabana for a siesta.
Afterward - shopping on Avenida 5. Hope we found something …
We came back to Las Palapas today. It is great to be here. It is the perfect beach resort - peaceful, beautiful, casual. Our cabana is great. We threw our bags in the cabana, changed, & hit the beach. I spent many peaceful hours lounging, people watching, drinking margaritas, & reading.
Lunch we had a wonderful ceasar …
Out of bed at 9.30am (the lie-in was amazing, who thought I would call 9.30am a lie-in). Did my theory for the navigation and peak buoyancy dives. Then Angelos and I went out for a quick brekkie on the beach before heading to Playa Scuba for our 2 adventure dives, Navigation and Peak Buoyancy. Cannot wait to see how the guys fared this morning on their confined water dives.
We got there at 12.30pm but the guys weren't back yet and they were so disorganised and ...
... in front of us. They are kinda minty. Before we have them, a lady that was there ordering looked over and asked what they were. Kyle said "I don't know, but why don't you have one with us, as there is only the two of us". She said ok, and had it with us. We continue talking with her, introduce ourselves, chatting about where we are from, (she is from Germany), who we are here with, etc. then i take my leave and head back to bed, leaving Gerody with Jasmine. Wingman duties done. ...
... it on our 30min surface interval , then found another spot that lots of divers were at but they were heading off. So we hopped on in, took about 5 mins to find them. And then we sure did. You have to imagine the water is only at about 15m visibility so you're just waiting for a shadow to form and a shark to pop out of the blue. Suddenly we were surrounded by more than we could count and keep our eyes on, we estimate 8-12 of them circling only us as we were the only divers ...
