There is so much to say about this island and I won't have enough internet time to talk about everything we saw. We started out walking along the coast and by chance happened upon Alex, a young lad who offered to take us to all the amazing spots here.

We were only in port for 5 hours so it was a quick decision to head to the Souk al Had, a Giant marketplace a bit like an American flea market. At the main entrance was the butcher shop. Also there was a red flag, meaning that the current was way to strong and the waves broke right on the beach. Before we headed back, some of us walked up an inactive volcano to see the view from the top. Up ...

... La Vieja, which means to old, but we know it as Mediterranean Parrotfish. There are tons of these fish int he water, but spearfishing is forbidden.
One night my uncle hosted a big fish bbq. The grill was made a few hours before, from a simple metal fence/net, and made into a box, held with a nice chain. There were many small Dentex and one big Bluefish.
