Our last stop was to a 300 year old winery with grapes grown in craters of volcanic ash. What a wonderful day of perfect weather and nature at its best. Who says I can't have a great time without shopping? I'd gladly give up stores for this ...

It seems quite a bustling little place here but we need to get this work sorted on the boat and it's seems Gran Canaria is the only place which has all the bits. We were a couple of hundred metres from the beach and when we looked out across the beach everybody it seemed was naked, not a pretty sight in some circumstances I can tell you. Anchoring off is truly the best thing about sailing for me, it just gives you that fantastic ...

It was yet another Bank Holiday in Spain again today, so we thought if you can't beat em, join em. After breakfast we took the snorkels and our towels down to the tourist beach at Playa Blanca to get our 'fish' fix for the week. We had a good couple of hours swimming along the rocks and on the beach before popping back to the Marina and using their swimming pool which is in with ...
