... us all walk about ship grabbing rails and chair backs is quite comical. Negotiating our way from the ninth floor at the back of the ship to the 5 floor at the front of the ship to attend the "Cyberspace, the Internet, and the Emerging Future" lecture was no easy matter. Back in the room, Lee changed to go to the gym and I headed for the bed. At noon, the captain gave us his update. The waves continue to be 20 to 26-feet but the winds are down to 40 knots. We left Atlanta this morning at 8 AM and 72 degrees and headed out for our last day on the road, this trip. You all know what that drive is like. I knew we were getting close to home when, at noon time, we saw our first palm trees and the temperature was 91 degrees. And what a past six months it has been between Zander's birth, my surgery, the recovery period in Dundee, and being Tutu to Zander in Florida! Even though it has been such a long journey away from the life that I love, I'm so glad to have had all of these opportunities while I've been gone.

    Aloha mai kākou!

It's February already! I can't quite believe that I've been on the Mainland since September! I miss Maui and our life there, however, with all that is going on here, I barely stop during the week! It's quite different here but I'm finding lots to keep me happy and busy.

I'm working with an outstanding physical therapist every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning. It's ...
