Bless that Bus with a Bottle of Beer
Copacabana Our first introduction to Bolivia was in the beautiful town on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Weekenders eating food from street stalls near the shore, paddle-boating, picnicking, religious ceremonies; it seemed like a very festive culture. One Sunday morning, we passed by the Cathedral in town, and witnessed a strange Bolivian custom or …
A 3949m high Holiday
Copacabana was going to be our last stop in Bolivia.
Hugo, a nice chap from Isle of Wight, came with us and alltogether we booked in the most inspiring hotel we stayed so far: Las Olas.
Las Olas is a quirky complex of architecturally interesting suites built on a hill on the shore of Lake Titicaca.

Bye Bye Bolivia

Sometimes it's worth spending a little extra and getting more than you paid for. The appartments, all with great view and fireplace/woodoven, are the best I've seen in Bolivia. Design, materials, details, they even have mood lighting. Come on...you deserve it!
PS: make sure you reserve ahead.
