A relatively short journey to Barcelona and our apartment near to Llacuna metro station, well situated for the beach and the city. The mountain itself is a kind of anomaly in that it is made up of conglomerate stones that have been weathered into fantastic shapes like fingers reaching for the sky and in one place there is a camel like structure. In an attempt to get on the go earlyish, we broke the fast at a local place, simple and no frills. We then jumped on to the Metro and with one change got to Placa de Cataluyna and walked up to Gaudi's house. Casa Batlo is a totally crafted 5 storey building.
