... then for entres my mother and I both got the salmon dish and cynthia had a sort of sad homemade ravioli with spinach dish. The salmon was the best I've ever had in my life... was cooked in a posner oven whatever that is. I was moaning with delight with each bite. It was scrumptious. I love this apartment! The couch is good, it has a real bed that was comfortable even on the first night, the bathroom is small but the shower is big enough with plenty of hot water, and it has a washer, which I thought it didn't. I even made a deliberate decision (when I was planning) that for these 3 days it would be ok to not have access to a washer because I really wanted to stay in this apartment ...

At this stage of my trip, I felt that I deserved a relaxing, lazy day lying on a beach. 40 minutes away by train lies the lovely beach town Sitges. The first thing I did was some very successful and ridiculously cheap shoe shopping. It's wonderful being in a country where size 35 is so abundant!!! I headed down to Plaja Bossa Radona, a beach famous for being gay-friendly. Sure enough, rainbow flags and friendly faces greeted me when I arrived. I had forgotten ...
