We spent the day exploring inside the famous Seville Cathederal. We entered and saw so many amazing things then climbed up the 34 stories up the Giralda Bell Tower to check out the view of Seville. To this day no building in the centre can be higher than the Bell Tower.

As we lay back on the pillows in the bed on the first night in our new cabin we both had a peaceful, easy feeling (I must stop doing that!!) and woke at 8am refreshed after an undisturbed night (except a toilet trip at 4am but that's an age thing!!)

We awoke to a fairly warm and humid day today. After breakfast, the first stop was the local laundromat to wash some clothes. Visiting Spain in summer is fairly hot and sweaty work, and it was good to have fresh clean clothes. There are no trees to speak of and the center of the island is jut pretty much bare volcanic slopes, in the colors of brown, red and black.
