The owner Cara and her husband Rory, are friends with my cousin, and Rory has us clapping and cheering all night long with his very entertaining music. We met the coolest taxi driver on the ride home, who complemented my (drunken) Spanish, and told us how the water, electricity and petrol plants are side-by-side, so if one goes... they all do!

... saw all the transition zones for the race day, then decided to walk down to the water. I was in sneakers so once we got to the steps we both went to take our shoes off and as soon as our bare feet touched the ground we learned it had clearly been hot for a while because these steps were SO SO HOT!
